On 13 December, Civil Society Europe organised a Lunch workshop on Disinformation and civic space. The workshop enabled us to get further insights into main EU plans ahead to counter disinformation and to discuss how these interact with civic space. This discussion was timely as the European Commission was preparing a proposal on a European package on the Defence of Democracy. Rita Jonusaite from Disinfo Lab introduced the discussion.
