Are you an not for profit association (of citizens) established in the EU and you have faced problems in running activities abroad, or in receiving donations from citizens or donors in another country? Have you had problems in opening a bank account o in accessing bank services? Are you concerned with the implementation of EU rules? Then this survey is for you!

We would like to gather your experience in order to improve our work in this area and contribute to the preparation of a legislative proposal by the European Commission to address barriers faced by associations on cross border activities in the internal market based on a system of mutual recognition among EU Member States. This could imply the establishment of a specific legal form for Associations.

In view of  preparing the proposal, a public consultation was launched by the European Commission open until 28 October.
