Civil Society Europe (CSE)’s 2022 accounts were approved unanimously during the General Assembly in
June 2023, after being validated by an accountant and reviewed by an independent auditor. In 2022 we received and spent 185,496€.

Our income was constituted of membership fee contributions from our 22 members, we received funding
from: the European Union’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme (operational grant), Horizon Europe (for the EnTrust Project), the Greens/EFA Group for a conference, and from the Open Society Foundations.

All our funding was spent on advocacy work and awareness-raising activities, including the organisation of events, publications and position papers, capacity-building and exchanges among civil society organisations, as well as research and related dissemination activities.
