During 5 and 6 December 2022 more than 100 civic actors, donors and institutional representatives gathered in Brussels to work together towards a strategic approach for protecting and expanding Europe’s civic space.

This convening gathering was organised in order to create a strategic approach ahead of the European Parliament elections in 2024. However, this gathering was not just about identifying issues and priorities, it was about building networks, trust, motivation, and momentum in the process.

This event was jointly organised with the European Civic Forum.

Please, find here the record of the event and the Recommendations for the European Commission.
