Join us in Strasbourg from the 5th to the 8th of May 2022 to ensure that citizens’ expectations are met with actions!
This Summit intends to bring together all of Europe’s civil society’s driving forces (associations, trade unions, NGOs, foundations, and so on), as well as national and Members of the European Parliament. It will urge European leaders to put citizens’ recommendations proposed at the Conference on the Future of Europe into action, and to continue these efforts by calling a Constituent Convention for an ambitious reform of the Union.
The European Civil Society Assembly
Under the flagship of CSE, the CSO Convention #CSOCoFoE will be heading the Civil Society Summit on Saturday (May 7), from 9:30-15:30.
The Assembly will include two roundtable sessions to discuss on the main takeaways from the Conference on the Future of Europe (COFOE) and the next steps that can be taken by civil societies to continue their engagement in the follow up of the COFOE.
By the end of the event, members of civil society, social partners, MEPs, trade unions, and, most importantly, the European Economic and Social Committee will have adopted a joint Declaration.
March for Europe
After the Assembly, we will march from Place Kleber to demonstrate our demand for European leaders to move from words to action by organizing a large-scale citizen mobilization to support the continuance of the European project.
- Gathering: 4pm • Place Kléber in Strasbourg
- Destination: 6pm • European Parliament
